Watching the Ruins of Torre Argentina In Rome pushes us to rethink the way we relate to its archeological site. Where once used to be the water administration department of the Empire we propose a site specific intervention to enact a subversive transformation of the monuments.



Rome is so boring, Rome is so dry and untouchable. So let's go swimming! Introducing: Lago Argentina - Rome's first inter-city lake turning mediocre ruins into one of class. Dive beneath the water with the roof tops of Rome above you, steer a boat between ancient columns and catch yourself a crab because archeology should be much more fun; let the Romans swim.

Il confronto con l’area sacra di torre argentina ci spinge a ripensare le relazioni con l’inaccessibilità della sua archeologia.
